Navajo Lake New Mexico

Navajo Lake is located in the Four Corners Area of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. It is the second largest lake in New Mexico being 35 miles long with over 250 miles of shoreline. The New Mexico portion of the lake is a state park called Navajo Lake State Park.

This 15,000+ surface acre lake boasts numerous boating, fishing and recreational opportunities such as waterskiing and jetskiing. Houseboat rentals are very popular, as well as boat camping.

Navajo Lake State Park

The main entrance to Navajo Lake State Park is 39 miles east of Farmington, New Mexico via US Highway 64 and State Highway 511. The state park has a visitor center, group shelter, marina, playground, restrooms and showers.

Developed campsite fees range from $10 to $18 a night. Primitive campsites are $8 a night. New Mexico State Park campsites can be reserved 1 day to 6 months in advance. To make a reservation by phone call 1-877-664-7787.
